I am shocked that people actually like this movie. I know that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I can show you CINEMATICALLY how Carpenter's film is at the very least more of a WELL MADE movie then this piece of dreck! I was shocked to see some people actually prefer the remake to this calling it a far superior remake! Were we watching the same movies? C'mon people!

Ugh I am upset I decided to watch this over my other choice tonight, whatever it was, it doesn't matter, any other movie would have been a better choice. I honestly just wanted to see some Maggie Grace because she's a smoking hottie, but honestly watching this movie isn't even worth it. I have no idea about the original, but I'd imagine it HAS to be better.
shareif anyone thinks this movie deserves even one star, they are probably deaf and blind, because thats the only way you would think this movie is any good. I happen to live pretty close to where this movie is supposedly takes place, and im telling you, the people in the original movie are pretty dead on as far as character design, in the new movie, its like they took hollywood and transplanted some of their snotty residents to the area, complete crap. I give it negative -4 stars.
Had to be one of the dumbest, lamest, and biggest rip-offs I've ever seen. Poor writing, acting and plot. Please don't waste your time or money if you haven't seen it...
