...the ending of the second movie and the beginning of this one? How is it that we never get an explanation? This was my favorite of all the RE films I think, but I could have used some explanation.

She escaped in first attempt.
But later more clones were made out of her blood, which was taken already.
She remained (hidden), out of grid, as she got some power.
