very interesting casting of the Saudi police officers

The 2 Saudi police officers who help the FBI team in their investigation are played by 2 actors who just 2 years before played Palestinian terrorists in Paradise Now, a movie about Palestinian suicide bombers. You've got to wonder what their choice to play Saudi policemen who fight against Saudi terrorists says about their attitude towards terrorism. Did these 2 actors view terrorism against American oil workers in Saudi Arabia as unacceptable while in contrast they were willing to accept the legitimacy of Palestinian suicide bombings against Israeli civilians? Was their choice to be in The Kingdom a deliberate choice to contrast these 2 different examples of terrorism?
