Action movie with hidden political messages

This may be a typical Hollywood action movie, but there are a lot of messages in amongst the shoot outs and explosions.

There is a quick summary of the US- Saudi alliance that is based on mutual strategic interest.

The film points to the tension of Western families living separately within a deeply religious society. This is bound to create tension, if not resentment. The attack at the start of the film is aimed clearly at the homes of the oil workers. Following on from that, there is the implication that Saudi Arabia may not be the most reliable ally.The FBI team are hampered before and during the investigation. Do the Saudis want the truth?
