I Live at the US Housing Compound

The movie was largely shot around Arizona State University's Polytechnic Campus, where I've been going to school the last 2 years. Rewatching it again two nights ago with some friends, we were blown away.

During the opening attack, you see houses getting shot up and people getting gunned down and we were like: "Dude, that's where we live!" The last time I saw the movie I hadn't been on campus, but seeing it again now after living here was amazing. I've always disliked this campus for not being within walking distance of anything, but when you see your neighborhood getting shot up, well, the campus becomes a little cooler.

A few other interesting factoids:

The gym they sleep in is about a quarter mile away
The SUV ambush was only a few miles away on the 202
The interior fighting of the final shootout was in an unused warehouse several miles up the road
I think the exterior fighting of the final shootout was here on campus (the buildings were facades, later torn down)

My mule don't like people laughing... Gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.

The Washington D.C. FBI briefing room at the start of the movie is actually a fire fighters training facility briefing room in Phoenix. Great movie.

The bit where they are playing scrabble was the inside of a plane I think.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.
