If there ever was a film that would benefit from a Director's Cut, this would be on top of my list. If anyone from the production company reads this, you would be well advised to put some effort into getting it together. I am sure Peter Berg would be very thrilled to put his film back to the form for which it was designed.
shareCompletely agree with this. I'd love to see more character development and longer build up to the finale. When I heard Mr Berg had been shot down by the studio for wanting this I was gutted. It's to much about money and not enough about quality and story these days.
So yes please Peter Berg give us your intended movie and I'd happily pay for the pleasure on Blu Ray.

I agree that this film is too short and very anticlimactic in its abrupt resolution.
It feels like 45 min were lopped out of the film.
