This crap makes you appreciate the Exorcist made decades ago and was the bench mark for so many possession movies.
shareI agree. Never thought about Jewish exorcists because we always see Catholic exorcists in movies. I'm sure every religion has some form of exorcism, but you just don't see it depicted outside of Catholicism.
I said the same thing when they professor started talking about it being something Jewish in origin, like "hmmm that's interesting" because you don't really hear about Jewish demons.
Dybbuk boxes are real. This movie is (loosely) based off of a real story of a specific one. Things happened to everyone who owned the box in real life. You can find their story easily online.
