Witchhunting Sharon (the godess) Stone

This movie was great fun, from the opening scene all the way to the end. Shame that the brainless herd keeps pounding on it, even without having seen it. Well, lucky you it is in showtime and on-demmand. I suggest you watch it because she really delivers a great character to the screen. The cinematography and score are excellent. The acting of Stone and ...whoever the dude is, plus Charlotte Ramplin are very, very good. This movie delivered what I was hoping for, a good erotic thriller, with a clever plot. Of course you know who the killer is, but who cares. It is not the mistery but the clever plotting that is the backbone of the character and the movie. Great cinematography, score, and photography.

And Sharon honey, I don't care how old you are, keep showing ALL you've got.

(spoilers?)

Hi,
I watched most of it on Showtime this weekend, but I really did not get who the killer was or if the guy was framed for the murders in the end and she got away with it - can you explain the end for me? Lol - ;)

I agree, she looked pretty damn good - I didn't even THINK of her age & being 50, I just thought of how nice it would be to 'meet' her! hahaha! ;P

SPOILER ALERT!!!

One of the things I like best about this movie is the ambiguity as to who the murderer is. There are three "basic" suspects:

1) Sharon Stone's character is killing all these people because she's crazy (Risk Addicted); or

2) David Thewlis' crooked cop is killing these people in order to frame Sharon Stone's character; or

3) David Morrissey's analyst is killing these people for revenge.

In this way the movie is more like real life than most movies? Who is the murderer? I have no idea! And I love it.

So, we'll NEVER know who the killer was - is that what yer trying to tell me?! Lol - ;-)

I am one of the ones who did not like what they did with the plot in this film but I certainly don't have a problem with Sharon Stone. She looks fantastic and no one portrays the ice queen sexy bitch role quite like her. Hehe.

Great fun?? Brainless herd? there's only one brainless person here and that is you...The movie is plain stupid, just saw it, thank goodness i didnt pay a cent to either rent or go see it...sheesh

This movie shares a special accolade with another in my opinion; "The Sicilian" was, up 'til I hired "Basic Instinct 2", the only movie out of well over 1000 that I've watched / hired / bought, where I actually had to stop watching it. I lasted about 35 minutes, and even that was hard going. Utterly dire. From the moment I saw Stan "girl-beater" Collymore in the first scene, to David Thewlis (what were you thinking mate?!?) giving the cheesiest performance of his career to date, I knew this was going to be a stinker.
