Basicly, It Stinks, Too!
Why was this film made? It has to be one of the worst sequals ever made, it has no orignal charm.

The original doesn't stink, so you can't say "it stinks too." Also, one of the reasons it stinks is because they cut out most of the sex scenes. The "unrated" DVD's still cut. What a joke. I heard the director intentionally messed it up.
shareYou're right. I have seen the missing sec scenes and let me tell you... they are spicy. But without those scenes the movie is still great.
shareIt's not raunchy enough, IMO. It was OK, but I like the original better, esp the director's cut. Stone was so much hotter back then, and she gave the performance of her career. I think Michael Caton-Jones sabotaged the sequel. I can't believe Sharon Stone let him get away with it. After going to the effort of shooting the scenes, why did she let him cut the movie all to hell?

shareI think both movies were garbage and Sharon Stone was, by far, the most over-rated actress of the nineties. Stone represented the beginning of the end of the great powerhouse actresses who populated the screen in the eighties and mainstream taste geared towards something far less substancial. The fact that the movie didn't even recoup her salary at the box office, it's fair to say she's permanently off the A list. Good ridance, Sharon

shareWith respect, Big. what research could you be referring too?? Stone remains a personality and loves to keep face and name out there, but not for her acting ability. Her films have consistantly done poorly at the box office for a decade now and read her reviews. She's become a joke to the critics.

You'd have to be a super fine actress like for example Meryl Streep to keep it going the same way. I really do think that Sharon Stone is a talented actress. ~ The other thing which I don't understand is why are you getting so bent out of shape on another persons opinion. If everyone agreed with everything I, your, or another specific person says, there wouldn't be a such thing as diversity nor creativity. You should be "pissed off" at bigger issues such as global warming, Medicare etc. Direct your anger at bigger issues, not my opinion about Sharon Stone. Accept it for what it is and move on. If you wanna continue to be a school girl about the situation, be my guest.

shareI don't mind being disrespectful to her, she's never done anything for me, nor will she ever. I think you're taking this a little to much to heart, and prejudice is something I lived with for 32 years...you use this word pretty loosely in your statement.
shareShe may have done nothing for you but it would be interesting to know that she works and helps a lot of people who are single parents and Children with disabilities. She won a lawsuit versus a doctor and instead of thinking for herself she demanded that the children she knew needed special treatment get it for free.
I'm not taking it to heart but this type of person deserves respect, because not lot of people are willing to help in such a way. You should see the news articles if you don't believe me.
You are 15 years old. You should not watch movies like this one. If your parent would know this....
