I just re-watched "Basic Instinct", I'm not really planning on watching part two but I was curious as to what it was about. So I checked out the synopsis on Wikipedia. I was wondering though, was Michael Douglas' character even mentioned. Like what happened to him, where he is now and whether or not he was murdered? If anyone could fill me in, that'd be great. Thanks!

his fate at the end of the (first) film remains unknown. It is never boldy stated of the aftermath and later relationship between Curran and the serial killing Tramell, as he does not appear in the sequal.
