Wait, Sharon Stone turned down Benjamin Bratt but the movie still tanked
Let me get this straight. Sharon Stone, who is a smart person but clearly this was just wrong for her to do, apparently hated Benjamin Bratt's acting so much she refused to let him star in it with her? Would it even have mattered? The film only made $5 million at the box-office and was given Razzie awards up the wazoo. Did the producers really think that "Wait- so if we cast Benjamin, the film won't do well." It just seems idiotic. This premise was never going to work because a) Sharon Stone was too old to be playing her character 16 years later, and b) Michael Douglas wasn't in it.
