Flawless

I'm gonna get a load of hate about this but,

- I thought it was better than the first

- Far less predictable than the first

- Couldn't have been done better

- Perfect sequel, but also, flawless as a stand-alone movie

I seriously don't understand all that hate Basic Instinct 2 gets.

I agree with you. I loved it, too. Don 't understand where the hate is coming from.

they think Sharon was too old to make the movie...
but she looked very good.

I didn't find it flawless, but I did enjoy it more than the first one. I found the first predictable (but that might be because it became so iconic that most of it is now overfamiliar) and I liked the way the twist threw up a lot psychological ambiguity, which complimented the ambiguity of the first.

Not sure why it's so despised, critically and commercially, especially since most of the criticisms of BI2 could have been made about BI1.

maybe they hate it because Sharon looks very good and her wes looking very good too...
but i do not know why the nudity and sex scenes for Sharon were very few on it.

Agreed---'top-notch camp that has to be as heavy-handed as it is to work the weirdness quotient to the maximum(this is the murder-thriller version of Dark Shadows! haha)....

I laugh throughout, and only take Thewlis seriously(like him as an actor a lot)....

One cannot ask for more than this film delivers(Alfred Hitchcock would adore this flick!haha, except maybe contortionists and wild animals thrown in for fun!

David Morrissey was flawless. 
The movie had several problems, but I find it ridiculous how everyone keeps acting like the first one was a masterpiece.
I gave it a 6/10. Decent erotic thriller, but had the potential to be better.
10/10 for the Morrissey fanservice, though.

Makes one wonder what the OP might consider a "flawed movie"...
