One moment in the shoot out that stayed with me even after the credits.

Oh my god. This movie was awesome, engaging, and intense. The shoot out was a prime example of this. One moment in particular shook me to the core. When jack was shot down in automatic fire by Sweets' goons. The lack of excessive blood and the great acting by Garret Hedlund (those screams were disturbing as hell) and the desperation Bobby shows trying to reach his adopted brother and the emotional aftermath where Jack practically dies in his arms. The whole scene was memorable and had me on the edge of my seat. And it set up the rest of the film, making you hate Sweets more than you already did!!!

I'd think when you get show from a 4/5 foot distance, in the chest, by a deagle you wouldn't be able to scream like the actor did. It adds a lot of emotion to the scene but I found it took me out of the illusion of what the movie was.
Jack's death was horrible, though.
