Who else thought Jack was underdeveloped?
He was a bit flat from what I remember.

His breasts could have been larger, yes.

Absolutely. Waste of a talented actor. Garrett Hedlund did brilliant with what he had but damn I wanted to see more of Jack.
Jack was obviously the baby of the family. I read or heard somewhere that he had been abused (that may be in an interview or in a behind the scenes clip). The brothers specifically treat him like a naïve child who, despite knowing there is evil in the world, should still be protected from it. They make him stay back when they are beating up their mother's shooters, and give him "backup" weapons like gas and a tire iron instead of a gun. They also speak to him differently...softer, gentler, even with slightly different words.
Jack seems to be emotionally naive and underdeveloped as well. He is soft-spoken, shy, more sensitive. He isn't as harsh with "bad guys", quipping that people should stay in school, have good evenings, and not be taught slang (such as "Cracker Jack"). He is almost immature...he acts like a young teenager more than a mid-twenties man (I don't totally know what his age was supposed to be.). Jack is the softest of the four, and he is treated as such and acts as such. He is, of the four, the most innocent.
I long to know more about him. I know this isn't the type of film to get a sequel, but man I wish there had been more about him.
