Do you think she will ever get married and have kids?

It's not too late for her right? She's not quite 40 and I know women can have children pretty late now. I guess it's probably not a big priority for her. Maybe she will find someone later on and adopt. I kind of imagine her finding somer rich older guy and settling down .

I think she might get married but no kids. Would you have kids after dealing with all the little terrors she's dealt with over the years? Plus, I pick up on the vibe that she's not into guys anyway. I'm not trying to be mean because I am a lesbian as well.

Watching this show can be pretty frustrating for my partner and me because we're not allowed to adopt kids because we're gay yet these people can pop kids out left and right without having a clue as to how to take care of them.

Someone on her messageboard says they saw her with some guy.

But, yeah, if I were her I would go lesbian and adopt. I'm not trying to be cruel either, but I kind of wonder what her chances are of successfully obtaining a "conventional" family dynamic. Not that she has to do any of that. I mean she has already done more than her share in this world to help bring well adjusted children into adulthood. She doesn't need to prove anything to anyone.

I would think it would be harder for her because, by now she has got set in her ways and would probably want to take the strong lead in a relationship. By now she has a grasp of how hard it is to get a man to go along with ANY type of relationship long term...much less one where he is not neccessarily the dominant figure. I think she has a pretty face, winning personality, nice hair, etc. but she obviously doesn't fit into the accepted glamorous body-style stereotype. So, there are men who desire every type of woman maybe she would have to find someone who looks outside of that stereo type.

I guess the trick is to find someone who isn't just a gold digger...ya know, someone who has his own money (but not necessarily as rich as her). Or find a rich guy who doesn't feel the need for a trophy wife. On the other hand, being able to say "Supernanny" is raising your kids could be seen as a kind of 'trophy'ish motivation...so, would she want someone marrying her for that?

It would be nice for her to find some nice young buck who finds her simply wonderful. I'd like to believe it could happen for her. Or find some nice woman. I don't care. As long as she's happy.

There could be resources for that... Even potential birth mothers who would adopt to lesbians or single adoption internationally and having your partner co-adopt once you return to the states.
Sadly though, a lot of places are closing in terms of adoption, but there's also the foster care system.
OT, But I'm always doing research on adoption.

Why does she have to have kids? Are we not real people or contributors to society unless we pop out some brat that we can't handle?
At least she didn't get knocked up while unmarried or is acting desperate and being artificially inseminated.
It'll happen if/when it's supposed to.

Why should she? Why must everyone have children? Maybe she's happy telling other parents what to do with their kids and rolling in the profits from it.

Agreed!

Right. There are some people who don't have children who can step back and be more objective than a parent can.

I think my question would be why didn't she? It's not that I think she should or shouldn't, I am just curious why it never happened. It's an "interview" question that would have to be asked...if she allowed it to be asked.
For example is the answer
a. I never really felt the urge.
b. Dealing with other people's brats turned me off that "urge".
c. I was so busy making money I just ran out of time.
d. I never found the right partner.
e. Unable to for physical reasons.
f. I saw the effect kids can have on relationships and I was content with the one(s) I was in staying the way it is.
g. Life is a ball and I am too busy 'dancing' to be tied down down to a family life.

There's no criticism in any of these possible answers. I just watch her show and wonder about her.
