Tonight (1/7/11 - George Family), they have 5 kids and a grandkid and still a huge house.

I only watch the show very occasionally, so can't speak with great familiarity of the show, but my guess would be is the mom and dad are the very driven, type "A" personalities, that put so much time into their career(s), and making the almighty dollar, that the kids suffer from lack of attention, love, and discipline.
Also, in having the type "A" personality, they are most likely control freaks, and can't stand it when things aren't going their way.
