It seems every time I tune it, there is this family with serious issues and they have like 3 or more kids! Aren't 2 enough? Can't you have 1 and it be a problem?

Yes, it does seem they always have several children, and usually so close in age.they don't even take time to notice they lack parenting skills, they just keep popping them out!
