only 7.2 whats wrong with you people
This is a great movie. its better then most of the garbage on here. I would give it at least an 8 but 7.2 is not giving it justice.

share7.2 is asking for fairness here. The movie was good, I, myself gave the movie an 8 out of 10, but I can see where the 7.2 score is coming from, particularly because it feels a little uneven in parts, and the center is a little slow, but the movie was good. It would be criminal to have the movie at a 6.8 or lower, but 7.2 is fair, in fact, 7.4 would be asking too much, I think.

7.2 is good for IMDB. Even the highest rated movies with the most votes on here still usually only reach the low eights...
"I've been turned down more times than the beds at the Holiday Inn; I still try"
during the first 42 minutes NOTHING interesting happens. All we see is Chris Pratt's new life .
that alone should warrant this movie much lower rating than 7.2
Sure the second half of the movie was really good but the first half was senselessly boring
Its notable that many like the first half and see the last third as a standard action flic. Much of the parsing is from would be film critics.
I agree that if you look around 7.2 a pretty good rating on IMDB.
I give the film a NINE all the way. I based that on the effect it had on me as I walked out. The little details from a underfunded project were not even noticed until the 3rd viewing.
"during the first 42 minutes NOTHING interesting happens"
haha, yea ok dude..go watch transformers or something...clearly you don't like movies with good characterization and interesting characters..
go watch stuff go boom or whatever...the intelligent people want to discuss an intelligent movie..
IMBD stadards....... Its like how guys on the internet call a attractive woman alright or okay.
shareagreed..
shareActually, I think 7.2 is too high. This movie is a pretty average heist movie with the whole "memory loss" twist thrown in to try and make it better, which in my opinion, it did not.
shareMemory loss "twist"? There was no twist in this movie. It was not trying to have a twist. This movie was perfect. I gave it a 10. This is the movie that made me fall in love with Joseph Gordon Levitt. He is truly an amazing actor. He shows emotion so well on his face.
sharePerhaps I used the wrong word. I meant "twist" as in something thrown in to be interesting, not as in "turns out he's the bad guy" kind of twist. This movie in no way was perfect.
