I dunno...
Maybe if they do this right, it’ll encourage some Studio to greenlight CONAN: Crown of Iron.

shareIF is really big
First considering how badly the first live action movie flopped when the original cartoon was running and fresh in our minds. They went out of their way with that one. There was an idiotic plot about getting sent to earth and having to interact with teenagers--who were too old for he-man toys anyways and were never ever going to become fans of what was basically a 30 minute toy commercial.
And then the recent failure of the JEM live action movie should have imparted a lesson. Yes the toy commercial-cartoon was off comparatively much longer...but there were now video clips for reference. Somebody merely just wanted to slap their name on a project and did not really care about project quality itself. Yes the fans did even in our (now) 30's and 40's because it bombed.
I'm really doubtful this script's going to make money. It's great there are people who can throw away that much money and still stay alive.
yeah
The Jem movie should have been MUCH easier to remake--'good female rockband' outsmarts bad female rockband w corrupt manager and lead singer of good band has hot boyfriend and w they do live in a modern world. Not sure why they went out of their way to mess up JEM especially. I could have produced it!! w exception of synergy and the special effects w that it wasn't that fancy a plot.
He-man maybe they DID think eternia was too expensive/were given a certain budget to work within. Case of making do with what money they had. Fantasy land even back then is much more expensive. Not saying what they did to us...etc was right but that was the only justification I've managed to figure out. Yes the movie stunk and did not make sense. No battlecat etc.
Point of order: there is no “s” on “anyway.”
It’s a malaprop right up there with “try and,” when what you mean is “try to.”
We can also cram “sorry not sorry”up our species asshole.
If they are going to redo this movie, it will be called She-Man. Cuz why does a man always have to be a He? That injustice has gone on way too long, if you ask me. A woman can be a man, just as well as any man. 2019, people!
shareA company called Titan Comics got the rights to Conan the Barbarian now. Marvel lost them last year.
