Mockumentary

Did anyone else feel like this movie seemed like a Best in Show / Spinal Tap mockumentary? The absolute absurdity of Treadwell, enhanced by the deadpan delivery of the various people describing him and the situation had me and my wife chuckling. In my head, I kept on casting Christopher Guest, Eugene Levy, Harry Shearer and Michael McKean in various roles.

Sort of. But it was impartial enough to qualify as a great documentary with an extreme amount of satire.

It definitely felt fake at times. Some of the scenes had a rehearsed/acted feel to them. Hell, I've seen mokumentaries that felt more authentic.
