Treadwell was the epitome of liberals in America and the Mental illness that plaques them.

They can not deal with their own short comings and own issues constructively so instead of working on their inner self they create a fantasy and project outward and blame and try to affect change on others.

This is what the typical liberal in America is like Bill Maher, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon, etc etc. They loath and hate their own self and their failures but instead of working on it they want to change and control everyone else..... tell everyone how to think, tell everyone want to eat, tell everyone they must buy health care, they are obese and must work out, they must stop driving and save the bears and the trees.

its a sad state of affairs, I feel bad for these people, they live in a fnatasy world completely detached from reality, completely delusional. It would be funny except our GOVT is currently run by 3 of them, Pelosi, reid and Obama.

This is one of the stupidest posts I've seen on these boards (and believe me, that's really saying something). If Treadwell represents liberal mental illness, then I'm going to say that serial killers and rapists represent Republican mental illness.

Most rapes and murders are committed by blacks, and most if not all, have liberal sensibilities. This logic doesnt stand. That being said, *beep* both parties and the US Govt.

Even by wacko IMDB Troll Standards, this has got to be one of the most BIZARRE and UNSUBSTANTIATED allegations I've read on IMDB in YEARS.

OP needs to go find a political board, where he/she can rant with some like minded individuals on his 'opinions' on liberals. Too funny!

I know a fairly broad spectrum of people ranging from very liberal to very conservative.

Not one of them would ever go anywhere near a grizzly bear in the wild.

nogard, I took 2 minutes to peruse a few of your other posts, and . . wow. I lean conservative on most issues, but lemme tell you, bub, you do conservatives no favors by . . being you, I guess. You redefine "massive leaps in logic." I'm thinking even Glen Beck might find you to be a little much.

The people calling themselves conservatives these days seem to form all their opinions based on an almost complete lack of any information outside of some bare-bones and only dimly understood propaganda. They just take any negative thing and arbitrarily assign it to "liberals." It's like the word "liberals" doesn't even mean anything beyond "them" (i.e. bad) as opposed to "us."

OP, I strongly recommend you start reading books and get a subscription to a newspaper, or at least start reading the news on real news sites rather than getting it from conservative propaganda sites and talk radio. The lack of understanding of the world that you show in this post is troubling and frankly depressing.

I disagree with the OP, but this post is almost comedically ironic. I happen to remember the apoplexy that seized the American Left during the coalescing of the Tea Party too well to buy into the idea that it is somehow unique to conservatives.

"Us" v. "them" mentality is common to all groups. Tribalism knows no bounds, it's just that some groups disingenuously claim to not be afflicted of it while paradoxically pointing it out in others. Reference just about any video of the Occupiers to see violent tribalism on display.

The recommendation to read books and newspapers is a nice passive-aggressive touch. I dig it when people use ad hominem, appeal to ridicule, and generalization fallacies in the process of decrying ad hominem, appeal to ridicule, and generalization fallacies.
