Everywhere I look for this lists it as full screen. Please say it ain't so -- even Masterpiece Theatre letterboxed it. And was Masterpiece Theatre version edited with scenes restored on DVD?
What's the deal? TIA..

I just got mine from Amazon. It is the original unedited British TV version and it is letterboxed. Hope this helps

Have you guys encountered a version with closed captioning or subtitles? I've been looking for a copy with either, since I don't mind widescreen or full screen, but can't stand watching anything without closed captioning. I completely loved this movie and would love to add it to my collection (I borrowed it from a friend who is insanely obsessed with David Tennant and has now got me hooked on the scotsman!).
