Is there a difference between the US version and UK version on DVD?

I recently bought the US version of Casanova on DVD. I absolutely loved the movie, but I feel like the US version is missing an episode, eventhough it says "original unedited British version" because it only has two parts instead of three. Also, I'm a bummed there is no commentary or deleted scenes in the US version.

Is there a difference between the US version and the UK version of Casanova on DVD?

Why are you such an evil bastard when you know what it does to me?! (TDCS)

Hi, I dont know the answer unfortunately, but I have the english dvd and it has three episodes of about an hour each. The back says total running time is 172 minutes approximately.

So, unless they have changed it for the US to two one-hour-&-a-half-ish episodes, it would seem they have done something weird.

I really dont understand why things get cut around so much in the US, its really strange!

Also, i'm not trying to be rude or anything like that, but you mention the movie and episodes in the same sentence.... you do mean the david tennant series dont you? Not the heath ledger film. If you mean the david tennant one then yes, as I said, its three hour-long episodes.

Episode 1 - ends with him dancing with henriette.
Episode 2 - he gets taken to prison.
Episode 3 - he goes to pompeii.

Hope this helps a bit I love this show! I wish there could be more series like this, about different historical figures.
