Mrs Rabbit’s voice

Petty, I know, but does anyone hate the way she speaks?

She just comes across as really smug and self-assured.

Or am I just reading too much into a 2D kids’ TV show?

You are not alone!

I have to sit through 3+ hours of Peppa twice a week with my 2 year old granddaughter and I cringe when the condescending ear-wearing character speaks.

reply

I'm so glad someone else cringes every time she speaks. I don't know what it is about her. I love the Peppa Pig show. I just hate Miss Rabbit. I have so much time on my hands I'm thinking of starting a Facebook hate group about her!

The voice is great for Mrs Rabbit and also Nanny Plum in Ben and Hollys Little Kingdom. It suits the characters and adds to the humour, its part of what makes it watchable for adults. Lots of humour in there that children wont get.

You seriously need your ears tested! ;o)

Has no-one else noticed that Miss Rabbit is stalking the Pig family?!

Seriously, everywhere they go, she's there. They go to the supermarket and she works on the checkout. They go to Duckworld and she sells the tickets. They go on a school trip and she drives the bus. They go to the dentist and she's the dental nurse. They go to the museum and she sells the tickets and works in the museum cafe. I think they need to report this to the police before she starts getting violent.

Besides, she needs to stop following the Pig family and pay some attention to those kids. Rebecca has a seriously unhealthy obsession with carrots - she goes pink every time she even says the word 'carrot'.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this cartoon...

I've often thought that if Daddy Pig should happen to stray to the local "Peppa World" brothel, due to Mummy Pig's unfortunately timed "time of the month", then he'd find Mummy Rabbit working there...

"Hello, Daddy Pig! What can I do for you?"

"Er..."

I'm sure it'll be in an episode soon...

reply

Errr, sight problem with the Rabbit family you have there. If you are observant enough, you will notice that Mrs. Rabbit is normally around with Rebecca and Richard, but the other ones (yes there are more than one) are Miss Rabbit, so therefore, one assumes, that they are Mrs Rabbit's sisters, hence the annoying family shout (sorry voice).

you are confused - miss rabbit is not mummy rabbit - they are twins.
So, the kids will be with mummy rabbit, miss rabbut has faaaarrrr to many jobs to be a mother...!! (an shes called miss - how else could you explain mr rabbits envolvemnet??)

reply

Mrs Rabbit's voice (same as Miss Rabbit's) is a bit annoying. The one that gets under my skin, though, is Doctor Hamster, the veterinarian.

reply

Hahaha whenever we see an episode with the vet it in i talk like her for the rest of the day. My 3yr old thinks it hilarious but she's the only one. I answer my phone doing her hello when i know its my daughter.

My 2 y/o is obsessed with Peppa Pig. It is a cute show, but I agree - the only thing I can't stand about it, is Mrs. Rabbit's voice. I don't know what it is about her, but I really don't like it!
