My daughter loves this show more than anything , and it's better than some of the programs offered nowadays. However, I can't help but notice what a brat this Peppa character can be - she seems to get her way all the time with her parents and they just laugh . I realize it's only a tv show but I worry sometimes that she may think this behavior is normal and expected. guess I'll soon find out and she will cease to watch it if that happens I suppose .
shareI wouldn't worry about it. My kids love this show, too, and I actually enjoy watching it with them. I think Peppa's sweet. Sure she gets her way on little, amusing things ("Daddy, you musn't break a spiderweb") but her whole life is lived within the confines of what her parents establish for her. She goes where they take her. She sleeps when they tell her to. She wears her boots. Etc. I actually think it's cute that her parents often just laugh and go along with stuff instead of going the more cliched TV route and getting angry. Like when Daddy Pig actually rode Peppa's bicycle to work so he wouldn't break the spiderweb.
