Does not come to a satisfying conclusion
This is definitely an interesting show, but don't expect it to come to a fully satisfying conclusion. It's clear that the makers hoped to do a follow-up season, so lots of small and large threads are left hanging. (There are also some rather large holes in the story...what is going on with Mercy at the end, for instance?) Had Funland been written as a stand-along story with a tight finish, this might have been a really great show. Instead, it's intriguing from start to finish, but leaves me unsatisfied...rather like some of those clients at the lap-dancing club, I imagine!
