The darkest programme in the history of the BBC?

Incest, murder, torture, (attempted) rape, people being forced into lapdancing and prostitutuion, a heckuvalot of strong language...

(this isn't a criticism, by the way - I loved it)

*shrug* Don't get me started on the secret lives of the Teletubbies.

=D lol. I never really got to see the show, but that sounds pretty dark. Just the way I like it, actually: hence why I prefer Daredevil to Spiderman, the last two Harry Potter films rather the kid-friendly first two, and Batman Begins is one of the best Batman films.

If it ain't dark... #insert end to proverb#

You forgot total corruption - on every level! (I loved it too!)

Yeah it is dark, but that's what makes it so great! It's a unique series, probably the best thing on last year.

It does have a dark theme, but I think a lot of it was on humorous levels and that's what was so good about it, it so different from your usual dramas and nothing like I've seen before

reply

The Singing Detective was pretty dark.

reply

Dark but still boring and unengaging.
