The Monkey
The toy monkey that the boy arranges at the beginning.. meaningful or not? I've seen the film twice and haven't managed to catch the significance if it is indeed there. Anyone?

We're all just pieces of meat? I think the multiple meanings of this short all boil down to the fact that we are all can be derived back to monkeys and possibly even just pieces of meat. Everything else is just the decisions we make. I've heard all sorts of rationalizations for this movie on this board, and between friends of mine, and I would have to say that ultimately it boils down to something very primordial and simple.
