Tryhard
This movie is the definition of tryhard ridiculousness.

I generally try to avoid making judgements that are based on not the actual content of something, but my perception of the intentions of the maker. But maybe you can read minds?
This post is the definition of tryhard ridiculousness.
What makes this film any more of a "tryhard" than Pulp Fiction?
Meaning, why can't that film be accused of trying too hard?

Big difference is that "Pulp Fiction" didn't just try -- it succeeded wildly. It's an iconic film -- it virtually created its own genre!
This film seems to have pulled from about six different genres -- and not very successfully. At best, it's a bit of a
muddle to my mind.
