Why did Goodkat do the Kansas City Shuffle to the airport guy?

Why did Bruce WIllis kill the guy at the airport after telling him the story? Who is this guy?

reply

Did you even watch the movie?! That was Nick.

reply

Yeah it was the innocent guy they killed so they could kill the people who killed his innocent father.

reply

There's a word for that... An iron, and a guy named Nick come to mind.

reply

Fisher is from innocent if he got in trouble for forcing himself onto a 14 year old cheerleader.

reply

*beep* idiot. xD

reply

My bad ye. I realise he's not innocent now

If you feel better about it, i still gave the movie an 8 for fun factor.

He spent 8 years in prison for that crime. How many times should a man pay for his sins?

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

In between your beeping and loling, you might've taken a few seconds to realize that Slevin and Goodkat have no idea about Nick's prison record. They picked him solely because he owed both bosses. Him being a sex criminal is pure coincidence, basically added in so the audience doesn't really feel bad for him.

-There is no such word as "alot."

He was Nick Fisher, the loser who was in the red to both gangsters. This was very well explained in the third act of the film.

reply

Well they interject that all of the people Slevin and Goodkat kill are "bad" guys.

Even Nick the supposedly innocent guy everyone complains about forced himself on a 14 year old girl said by the cop in the men's room. But he did 8 years in prison, and how would they know about his history? Some would say he paid his debt, a lot of people have daughters so they think people like him "should" be killed, or just find that type of crime unforgivable, regardless of "time served"

It was subtly stated that "slim" was also a murderer in the paper by saying it was ironic since "he was behind a few disappearing acts himself". So I guess it's ok to kill him too. I still liked it, I thought painting them in a brighter light than just a couple guys out for revenge was dumb, but so were a few other things in the movie.
