Why are the sets so ugly...is there a reason?
Every room, hall or interior is just ghastly! The walls are either to wavy, to stripped, to geometric, to metallic, to woodsy, to flowery, to black, to red....just an overwhelming grotesque assault on one's sense of aesthetics!
Is there a purpose behind all the ugliness (some metaphor that escapes me perhaps)? Am I the only one that doesn't see one speck of beauty in any of the set design?
That being said, I do like the movie as a whole...if I stay focused on the actors & dialog and not look around the set that is
No offense intended...I've an opinion like everyone elseshare
