The Twist Spoilers

I can't remember how I felt when I saw it in theater other than loving it. I also remember being surprised by the end.

But re watching this now, when you find out Hartnett was the kid from the beginning, wasn't it pretty obvious? You knew that story meant something from the way Willis was telling it, and you know the kid was still alive. They also made the kid have hair like Hartnett. So wasn't it obvious right away the kid was going to be Hartnett? There were some other surprises like who was involved, but re watching it it just didn't feel like as much of a twist as I remembered when I saw it in theaters.

hindsight is always 20/20

I had my buddy just watch it and he assumed right away that Hartnett was the kid. I almost wish they didn't show that his dad had a son.

There's the scene where the detectives are talking about Goodkat. They say how he's the guy who comes to town, people die and he leaves. That made me think that Slevin was Goodkat. I realize that it was a wrong assumption, but it's also kind of obvious that Slevin is Henry, from the beginning of the movie. Didn't take long for me to know that he wasn't some random person that wanted to visit Nick Fisher.

I also think the scene where his dad gave him the watch outside the racecourse wasn't needed as gave to much away when they focused on his watch with Lucy lui not long after.

I haven't seen the film in a long while but watched it many times. I really liked it.

But, I thought the twist was about Bruce's characters being on the side of, partnered with Harnett's character.

Idk, I'll want to watch the movie again some time.
