Why is glorifying God an excuse for bad film making
It seems that every time someone criticizes one of Sherwood's movies, the answer is always that the movie is meant to glorify God. If anything that's a rather dis honoring statement, because God deserves the best. It's like saying it's fine for church to be boring and unexciting, as long as the message is good, not that Sherwood's movies, other than Fireproof, have very good messages anyway. Plus the fact that many movies throughout history were meant to convey messages, and because they were made so well, people remembered and appreciated them.
