Anyone feel bad for Vince?

He was apparently Employee of the Month for how many months in a row, which shows he is a consistent hardworker and cares about his job. It appears that he wasn't being a good employee to gain anything until this year because of the challenge from Zack and the Malibu prize. What's worse is that Vince was smitten by Amy and loses her and his title because of Zack and on top of it, he loses his '81 Honda Civic and ends up getting arrested! We don't know for a fact he wasn't ringing up items for an entire year - I think he rushed during the competition and made a mistake. Even if he made an occasional mistake of not ringing up items, he probably made some customers happy. I mean, he wasn't intentionally stealing items for himself if indeed, he had been not ringing up items. Maybe I missed something....But I feel kind of bad for him, even though he was a jerk and snob about his achievements.

He got Employee of the month 17 months in a row because he cheated dude. He was the fastest because he did not tag all items.

So he got what he deserved.

Vince brought this on himself. Being EOTM so many times gave him the big head, made him think he was above everybody else.

What I don't understand about him being the "fastest check" and I think it was mentioned that he did a competition, how did they not know he was skipping items? You'd think in a competition they would check the reciepts to make sure no one was cheating.

They did check the receipts from the competition; that is how Vince got caught. If you mean why didn't they check them immediatley, they probably didn't because they trusted Vince and Zack and didn't think they needed to until it was brought into question whether Vince cheated.

Worse than being an ass or a cheat Vince was a phoney. Vince deserved everything he got.

He wasn't just a jerk/snob about his achievements, he was an ass to the only real friend he had. He took advantage of how much Horhay looked up to him. Selling him that *beep* car for 10,000 dollars? That car probably wasn't worth 500.
