The movie failed to show even one of his offending pictures


WTF? This was R-rated, and of course they could have used 18 or older girls who still looked immature, so why in a "motion PICTURE," where they are supposed to show you things, do they not show what is the important subtext for the entire project? I suspect it is just pusillanimous art, afraid to offend the "powers that be."

Agreed that it may be cowardice to a degree - showing kiddie porn on camera is, itself, potentially prosecutable as kiddie porn

BUT ... I don't think it was necessary. This is yet another case of showing less being more effective than showing more.
