Haunting

One word I've seen again and again in reviews of this film is haunting, and it's funny because when I first saw this film, before I'd had a chance to read any reviews, (although few were out at the time anyway) that's the first word I thought of. I think the haunting nature of 3-Iron is perhaps it's greatest asset. I saw this movie at a film festival, and while I liked it, it wasn't until I realized how often my mind kept drifting back to the movie over and over for weeks after that I realized how brilliant it truly was. I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar reaction, because even now, after I saw it for a second time along with many other movies since the film that my mind continues to come back to is 3-Iron.
