Is this how America Cops act?

Watching an episode where a woman was stabbed in her home.

When the DNA evidence comes back the Cops including the head investigator are smiling and laughing. You freaking kidding me?

Not that I'd expect anything positive from this show, but it's clear they have the worst cops on camera because the decent ones don't want anything to do with this garbage.

Those foolish enough to move from canada to america increase the average I.Q. of both countries

They are not masochists smiling and laughing at her death.

They are happy that they have a lead and a cold hard fact called DNA that can link a subject to the murder.

I don't think you really understand what's going on. You seem to be looking for something petty to pick apart. I take you think homicide detectives never smile, laugh or just feel victory that they have gathered enough evidence to land a conviction for a murder? You go on with the confusion that the cops were unprofessional in showing satisfaction at a DNA hit and use it as inexplicable jab against Americans. Guess you think the cops in your country never show satisfaction in closing cases and are paradigms of somberness.

reply

Why even bother replying man, just ignore and thank the lord you were born with some common sense and let this idiot go about his bashing.

reply

Been working to be in the police for 4 years now ( long process here in Canada ).

Have friends who are in the force already.

The cops responsible for these type of investigations, in the 40+ age range? No, they don't really ever smile on the job. You get conditioned to be incredibly serious, laughing is extremely unprofessional for someone who has been doing that for years and years. You'd think that was the first time those cops got a positive DNA match?

But then standards in Canada are far higher, we care about who our law enforcers are.

Yea, right. You think your friends never cracked a smile on the job? You guys lose your pension or get fired if they show any laugh or smile while working? Funny how you assume you know how every Canadian investigator in every square inch of your country acts and how they would never smile on the job. It is amazing how you blatantly generalize all American and Canadian cops with silly childlike naïveté.

Life lesson, cause I know you haven't really lived it yet, men and women in the most intense, stressful jobs still have personalities despite remaining professional. If you spend four years for entrance to Justice institutes/police academies, you obviously cannot meet bare minimum and that is sad. Canadian police departments are pretty comparable for standards overall to American counterparts, it shouldn't take four years to make bare minimums. Your standards are not that high and I know that for a fact. Stop bs'ing...

I am out of here.

According to the book IQ and the Wealth of Nations the average IQ in U.S. is a point higher than the average IQ in Canada. But don't let data get in the way of your non-fact based stereotyped presumptions.

I've lived in both countries and this smug Canadian attitude is pretty common. Especially when they compare themselves to Americans. I find Canadians to be colder and less friendly in general. Maybe that's why his cop friends never smile?

reply

As a Canadian who has lived in both countries I agree with you. Canadians seem to have an inferiority complex when it comes to Americans. It is almost as if most of us get our identity from "not being American". I find it ignorant and disgusting. Ignore this moron. All of his posts seem to be preoccupied with bashing the US to the point he seems dillusional.

reply

LMAO...oh this is frickin' rich. I don't know which part of Canada you're from but I have lived in Montreal for some time. Come here and get a glimpse of the crooked cops and tell me you're only looking for the best and brightest. And you're ripping apart a couple of guys doing their jobs and showing some human emotion at what is considered a huge victory for a homicide detective? GTFO of here....

The journey was terrible...the trip was alright

reply

We get it. Canada good, America bad. Do you feel better now?

reply

Finishing up your 4 years of high school doesn't qualify as working to get into the police.

reply

I saw a show about a guy in Canada. He was gay.

OP, are you gay too?

reply

What a fool.
