Help Identifying Episode

Hello everyone - I was wondering whether someone could help me find one of my favorite episodes of this show.

As best I can recall, it involved the death of a schizophrenic woman who was originally from New Jersey, and mother to 5 or so adult children, who had moved to Florida. She was generally homeless, but was living out of a motel room, and had been been strangled and covered with a sheet and left with an open bible on her chest. The guy who did it was her lover/roommate and confessed he strangled her out of frustration, because she was keeping him waiting too long for sex while fixing her makeup and hair in the bathroom. He was older, probably mentally ill as well, and seemingly repentant about the whole episode.

I've read through many of the episode guides, but apparently, I keep missing the one that this was in.

I remember it too, but not which episode. I think it was one filmed in the past two years outside of Atlanta. The county starts with a G.

reply

I've seen that one too.

A&E's website seems to think it is

Season 12 episode 3 Hot Lot/Blind Faith
http://www.aetv.com/the-first-48/season-12

but IMDB says something different

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2173799/?ref_=tt_ep_ep26

Must be why you were unable to find it.

reply

It's neither of those. It was filmed in GA.

reply

In the episode Hot Lot/Blind Faith the "Blind Faith" scenes was recorded in Dekalb County, Georgia, and IT IS the episode you're looking for.
