Somebody kills someone because the cartel is on the way? Normal. I would get me and my family as far away from Oklahoma as soon as possible if I was a smart police officer. shareIt would seem so. From what I've read, the increased prevalence of meth in the midwest is a function of that region's proximity to the United States' border with Mexico. The Mexican cartels have recognized the value of that market. They're no longer relegated to accepting a percentage in return for safe passage between producer and customer. In much the same way as the Columbian cartels eventually eschewed the Cuban middlemen of the cocaine trade. Meth differs from cocaine in that it can be synthesized "in house". No more dealing with farmers and the whims of weather versus agriculure. A tanker-truck of base chemical is as easy to obtain as ordering from Amazon.
Tulsa does have some rotten scumbags but most cities have their share. You'll always get a good killing in Tulsa.
