Overkill by the writers

I just watched any early episode (Memphis & Miami)..

The narrator was talking about the victim.... a B/M, 23 years old, covered w/ tattoo's and killed during a drug deal ...

Oh BUT: He was a H.S. graduate and ~intended~ on going to business college !!

What total B.S.: Even the family & friends had to have been rolling their eyes and hiding their laughter when telling this to the film crew.

Believe it or not some people with tats and doing drug deals probably do have aspirations of doing other things ...

They never refer to victims simply as drug dealers or users, or really criminals in any sense. Usually if that is the case they will say "victim was a father, leaving behind a daughter." Or "victim planned on going to college in the fall." Etc.

Good for him, school and all the other stuff. that's good. However, he was a doper and he got blown away. Good for him.
