does anyone know who stopped the reporter from taking the pics?

hi-
i was wondering if anyone knew the character who stopped the reporter (and removed the film from the photogs camera) was supposed to represent in the film.

also i know reporters helped FDR in concealing his paralysis but i was wondering why and how this was acheived as not all reporters would be induced by consideration and all despite the war and the great job he was doing as president.

I think there was an understanding among the reporters themselves and they wouldn't hesitate to get physical with one of their own who tried to violate that agreement. Those were different times. During the war it was a matter of national security to keep any images of FDR in his wheelchair out of German hands where they would have become propaganda.
