Why was Tom angry?

I have seen this movie several times & I really love it. But one thing has been really bothering me. There is a scene of 4 guys playing poker - FDR, Tom Loyless (owner),Fred & another patient; Tom lets this guy win the poker hand & says he (Tom) was bluffing, gets up & leaves the table but as he's walking away he (Tom) says loud enough to hear "You can all go to hell!" Does anyone know why he did this?

It's FDR that says that and he's not angry. As Tom walks away, FDR becomes the dealer and he says "Well, gentlemen, the game is 5 card stud and 7's are wild." All the other players groan about him changing the game. So FDR adds "7's are wild. You can all go to hell." He says it as guys do when they kid one another, not because he's angry. But he says it as he turns to watch Tom because he's worried what up with him, so you can only see him start to say the sentence. This movie is well researched; FDR did like to play crazy variations of poker!

Thank you very much for your clarification of who said "You can all go to hell."
It bothered me about Tom because shortly thereafter he told FDR about his cancer.
Thanks again, Pat

I figured it out that Tom was working up the courage to tell FDR he was dying from cancer and therefore had become a person with a disability too because of this very same cancer.

Tom, having formerly crusaded against the Klan as a reporter, had previously thought of himself as 'open minded' in an era when many people held prejuduces against others who appeared different from themselves.

But getting cancer was the trigger what ultimately forced him to confront his own internalized discomfort with people with disabilities--despite having FDR...etc publically around.

He himself was not as open-minded as he had once previously thought.
