I know why Rowlf isn't in it, but........

....why isn't any of the other cool Muppets in it? Lew Zealand I believe wasn't in this. Dr. Teeth and the gang only had a cameo in a nightclub, with maybe only one line, and no lines for Zoot or Floyd. Rowlf should at least have a small part(like Scooter's part as the door guy could have been Rowlf). Where was Robin(voiced by Jerry nelson, who still is in the Muppets) and where were the others?

Here's a radical, unexpected casting idea that favors much more awesome Muppets: Rowlf could be Toto. And Pepe could be eaten. Man I hate that prawn.

Rowlf was the first muppet Jim Henson ever created and voiced so when he died they sort of semi retired Rowlf. He'll be seen every now and then but he never speaks. Personally i think he would have made a great Toto.

Floyd actually does say something. He says, "we've been drivin' the same lousy bus since 1978!"

that's only in the extended DVD version

reply

Really? I didn't realize that was an extended edition I was watching.

I'm with you, dex. They need to get rid of that damn shrimp already and make room for the real stars. Who ever got the sick idea that this little freak was even slightly funny?

If you act like an idiot, don't be surprised if people start throwing rocks at you....

Retiring Rowlf was a dumb idea. Unless Henson specifically put it in his will, I like to think he would've preferred to keep his favorite Muppet going. Rowlf was always my favorite too and I hope they bring him back as a main character.
