The quote was in the movie. The DVD version is not really the extended version. The DVD version was the regular length and the TV version was cut for time.

All from memory, so consider them paraphrased, but whilst the overall film was so-so, there were definately some laugh out loud moments. I remember:

The Twister alert has been upgraded from Right Foot On Yellow to Right Foot On Red.

Dorothy: Toto!
Aunt and Uncle: But he's just a shrimp!
Dorothy: He's not a shrimp, he's a king prawn!
(okay, you have to like Pepe for that to be funny... but if you don't like Pepe you're watching the wrong movie...)
