Using her name

She lacks any magic as a filmmaker. I agree with similar opinions on here that it's basically her name that got behind a camera. And the actresses and actors in this movie. You can view a movie gowever you want, as all views are based solely on each person's taste. But what a dissapointment this film was. I expected a little more substance to this film from someone with her last name. Yes, I am aware she may have a different style than her famous family name, but to be bold: This film sucks. Bored me.

I happen to adore Sophia for her filmmaking... Visually. She's a director, she's the eye of the film. She does her job. I like her use of color the most. Her graphics are breathtaking, I'm a sucker lavish sets and graphic decor ...so this movie catches my eye.

Sofia has a gift which many other diretors do not even possess, which is that she has such a tremendous eye for beauty. Her whole way of seeing the world is divine. She must have a beautiful soul, I think.

Assuming you mean "that got her behind a camera to make this movie," aren't you overlooking something? Don't most people who get nominated for a best director Oscar get the chance to direct another movie? Or, for that matter, who win a screenplay Oscar for a movie they directed.
