People who say she was the Paris Hilton of her time
Are imbeciles. And didn't Coppola said the same thing somewhere? That just shows the extent of her understanding of the subject.

shareAgreed. She was only a child when put in the unenviable position that ultimately led to her death. She was a bored teenager looking for escape from her life. Paris Hilton? No way.
shareI'm thinking they didn't mean that she was a vapid famewhore seeking out the limelight, but that she was perceived by the public in much the same way as Hilton is. Seen as beautiful, rich, pampered, glamorous and out of touch with the rest of the world.
I even have one of Choupette's in vitro kittens.
that wouldn't be possible either because she was a queen, I mean there is literally no comparison.

This is not true at all, there is a lot of evidence of Marie Antoinette caring and helping the poor. As I said there is nothing in common between her and Parasite Hilton.
shareI definitely agree. MA was a product of her time. She was forced info marriage, forced to be queen, and forced to run Paris. PH is a rich and spoiled lady who sought out fame and recognition. Nobody forced her to date stars, perform in a sex tape, make her own brand, etc. MA was forced into her life.
shareAgreed, she had no choice.
