victor crowely is the most brutal slasher in the genre.
the way he killed them one by one, wow, does anyone agree?

shareNot really. Yeah, it was hectic, bloody, all that.
But no suspense, therefore no menace. So the kills just looked like comic book sh*te.

Freddy, Jason, Michael, Leatherface, Chromeskull, Leslie Vernon, Babyface, and MANY others have had much more brutal kills than Victor. Victor is cool, but as Yaak said, there's no suspense, which takes away from how scary he is.
The Titanic sinks, Bruce Willis is a ghost, and Henry is the killer.

The OP never said anything about how scary he is. He definitely has some of the most brutal kills from the slasher icons. Freddy aside (he has the advantage of being able to do basically anything), I can't think of Michael of Jason kills more devastating than ripping people apart, literally. Michael had one that stands out where I think he puts his thumb in someone's skull, but it pales in comparison. That said I have only seen the first Hatchet movie so far and it isn't half as fun as the Fridays, Halloweens or Nightmares.

So less brutal because the kills lacked suspense? That doesn't really make sense.
Edit: And there was some suspense, although not much.
No. You should watch 100 Tears: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0943946
shareI was just about to recommend the same movie, Hatchet is an episode of Sesame Street compared to 100 Tears.
