I just watched the movie for the first time on TV... and I LOVED IT! It was so funny, romantic, and dramatic all at the same time. Lots of people give Tyler Perry flack for creating "junk movies" but I absolutely loved this.

I could relate to a lot of what "Helen" was going through. Maybe not the same exact situations but the emotions of what she was going through. Especially when she got kicked to the curb by her husband. I havent found my "Orlando" yet but im not detered.

It also shows that if you have faith... any kind of faith, either in God or whomever one may worship, it shows that with FAITH everything will fall into place.

Maybe if this movie was made with other ethnic backgrounds in the mix, it would appeal to a lot more people seeing that every ethnic group goes through the same things as any other.

I agree, I thought this was a great story about having faith. I hope it's not ethnicity that's keeping people from seeing this. I'm white, but I loved the movie and I can't wait to see more of Tyler Perry's movies and plays. I don't care too much for House of Payne... I think that's just trying a little too hard.

did you notice when you were watching it that it wasn't funny and that it really sucked horribly?
