Just started watching the show and was wondering what Scar's real name is. Scar can't be his real name. Does anybody know?

We were about to find out at the end of Brotherhood, but they never revealed what it was... maybe for the best :)

Imagine his name was Adolf or Herman. Not that they are bad names, but giving him a name would take away some of the mystery around him.
According to Scar (in Brotherhood, at least), he 'abandoned' his name in keeping with his mission of using alchemy, a sin against God in his religion and him essentially turning his back on everything he once held dear, in his war against the military.
