Too old (Hughes is about thirty), and I've never seen him as a comedian.

Although it's too late now, I would have David Boreanaz play Hughes.

My favorite choice for Hues was Jim Carrey he too is a little old but I feel like he is the only actor that can do the role justice.

Sean Bean would make a better Von Hoienhiam,although Liam Neeson would be my pick

They just announced a live action movie. It casts all Japanese people though. I get that whole argument when white people are cast in anime movies... but I feel like that would be appropriate I this. Isn't it basically a stand in for Europe? Especially Germany. None of the characters really look Japanese either.
